SHORT ORCHID TOUR (Single room)

An ideal experience for those who wish to discover Ecuador’s extraordinary orchid diversity in just a few days. This tour combines Andean and Amazonian landscapes with visits to Ecuagenera’s main botanical centers, allowing you to see thousands of orchid species and hybrids both cultivated and in their natural environment.

We’ll begin in Cuenca, a UNESCO World Heritage city, and then head to Uzhupud Garden and the Ecuagenera greenhouses in Gualaceo. Afterward, we’ll travel to the southern Amazon, crossing breathtaking mountain landscapes until we reach El Pangui, where we’ll explore botanical gardens and collections of aroids, bromeliads, and tropical orchids. Along the way, we’ll observe a wide variety of native species that make Ecuador one of the most biodiverse countries on the planet.
