Phargmipedium besseae Tour (Double room)

Discover some of Ecuador’s most breathtaking landscapes as you travel through the Andean and Amazonian regions in search of one of the country’s most iconic orchids: the Phragmipedium besseae . This tour will take you from Guayaquil to the Andes and the southern Amazon, passing through the spectacular Cajas National Park, the historic city of Cuenca, and diverse natural ecosystems where you can observe orchids in their natural habitat.

During the trip, we will visit the Ecuagenera gardens and nurseries in Gualaceo and El Pangui, renowned for their extensive collections of orchids, aroids, and bromeliads. We will also explore cloud forests, waterfalls, and Amazonian valleys with an extraordinary diversity of flora. As a cultural enrichment, we will visit the Ingapirca Ruins, the most important archaeological complex in Ecuador, before concluding our tour.
